Kickback Kitchen is about just, good food cooked locally for the whole neighbourhood, where everyone chips in what they can.

Once a week, we’ll sort dinner so you can take the night off. Our kitchens cook proper tasty, ready-to-reheat meals to pick up locally.

Just sign up and swing by your local collection point, pick up, tuck in and kick back.

Afterwards, we’ll share a link and you chip-in what you can. Some chip in a little more, some a little less. That’s how we keep the kitchen cooking and everyone eats.

Kickback Kitchen is more than dinner. It’s a simple way to waste less, share good food and see that everyone eats well.

Waste Less
It’s just common sense: why run fifty ovens when one can do the lot? We use local kitchen spaces that are already sitting there, which saves on your energy bills and does a bit for the planet too. 

We only cook for those who sign up so that nothing ends up in the bin. After all, good food belongs in tummies, not in landfill.

Share Good Food
The rules aren’t working for everyone, so we wrote new ones. Good food belongs on every table. It should be within everyone’s reach, proper tasty, and take the pressure off.

Everyone eats well
When Kickbackers chip in what they can, more of the money stays local and keeps the kitchen cooking. We pay proper wages for proper work, supporting local jobs, from our coordinators to our chefs.

Some weeks folks chip in a little more, some weeks a little less. That’s alright. Life has its ups and downs. What matters is that everyone gets a proper, tasty meal.
